Judith returns to the Lille Piano Festival

Following her previous participation in 2015, when she presented her “Chopin'Chopin” fusion project with Cuban pianist Pepe Rivero, Judith Jáuregui returns to the Festival de Piano of Lille (France) for a second time on Sunday 11th June.

On this occasion, the Spanish pianist will offer a recital in which she will play a selection of works that have accompanied her throughout the season: Oriental and Andaluza by Granados, Ballade no. 1 op. 23 by Chopin, Estampes by Debussy, Scènes d'enfants by Mompou and Sonata no. 5 by Scriabin; a repertoire full of contrasts and nuances, colours and textures.

As in previous editions, the programme put together by the festival underscores its commitment to both artists with consolidated musical careers as well as younger musicians with a very promising future on international stages, making it one of the most exciting features of the French piano scene.
